Arthur is a senior partner of Chapman Tripp, one of New Zealand’s leading law firms. With more than 40 years experience in property and corporate law, his present practice areas include company restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, development projects, infrastructure, asset trusts and superannuation. He has had extensive directorate experience with both public and private companies, and currently holds a number of active public company directorships.

John is a chartered accountant and Chairman of Staples Rodway with more than 30 years experience in a wide portfolio of prominent businesses. He is a director of a number of companies across a broad range of industries including property, construction, mining, finance, agriculture, importing and distribution. He has previously been a director for several public listed companies.

Sandy is a financial, human resources and strategic management consultant with international experience in management, finance, corporate banking and real estate. He has spent 15 years with Citibank and was CEO of Citibank New Zealand from 1986 to 1990. He is also Chairman of Caribbean Equity Fund, a Director of New Plymouth Energy Advisors, Intelligent Optical Systems, Mighty River Power and Intellipole. He is a former Director of the Bank of New Zealand.

Former leader of ACT New Zealand, Richard was, in the fourth Labour government, Minister of Transport, Aviation, Railways, Pacific Island Affairs, Broadcasting, Works Development, SOEs and Police, and Associate Minister of Finance and Postmaster General. He was a key minister in the Labour government’s programme of economic deregulation and corporatisation of Government trading activities.

Dennis has more than 35 years experience in the property industry with specific experience in the financing of property development and financial reporting. He was appointed a Director of the Mirvac Group in 1987 and served as Mirvac’s Finance Director until August 2005. Following his retirement from the company (as a non-executive Director in March 2006) he co-formed a joint venture, Broham Pty Ltd, with Robert Hamilton (former Managing Director of Mirvac) providing consultancy services to the property industry. He also holds a number of board directorships.

John has been Executive Director of McConnell Group since 1993. He has an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business, New Hampshire USA and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from the University of Melbourne. Following two years as a Process Engineer, John moved into corporate finance and investment banking as a Corporate Analyst for Jarden Corporation in New Zealand. After completing his MBA he became an Associate with Merrill Lynch Capital Markets in New York structuring, implementing and advising on debt finance programmes. John then spent three years with McConnell Dowell Corporation restructuring the company.

David is Managing Director of McConnell Group. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from Canterbury University and an MBA from the Kellogg Business School, Northwestern University in Chicago. David began his career in Sydney with strategic management consulting company Booz Allen and Hamilton Inc returning to New Zealand in 1993 to establish McConnell Group, with his father and brother. David has been appointed Chair of Tourism, Events and Economic Development and is a former Director of Mighty River Power, a member of the University of Auckland Business School Advisory Board and the Committee for Auckland. In 2006 he received the Sir Peter Blake Emerging Leadership Award and in 2008 a prestigious Eisenhower Fellowship.
